About The Point Lookout Auction

The Point Lookout Unreserved Auction consists of select assets and salvage of four buildings that were part of the former Point Lookout Resort and Conference Center located at 67 Atlantic Highway in Northport, Maine. Built by credit card giant MBNA, Point Lookout was considered one of the finest corporate retreats in the Northeast. No expense was spared on the 387-acre site to create a world class facility that later became a premier conference, event and wedding venue.

With the property under new ownership, and the event center closed, Thomaston Place Auction Galleries has been asked to find new homes for thousands of assets. On August 5 there will be a public auction conducted without reserve. Items to be sold will include maintenance equipment, commercial kitchen equipment, food service and catering supplies, A/V and electronic systems, office equipment, antiques, stone hardscapes, bowling alleys, and salvage on several buildings.
